Christmas is a time of joy and celebration, filled with family traditions and heart-felt memories. But what if there was a dark and sinister side to this holiday season? What if there was a world, beyond our own, that was controlled by a malevolent entity, determined to ruin all that? This is the scenario we want to bring to life in our upcoming screenplay, The Diary.

Sylvie, a girl, in her mid-twenties, out looking for a unique Christmas gift for a special friend, on a visit to a backstreet antique shop, is the first to come across the centuries old artifact. Fascinated by its age, beauty and uniqueness, she purchases it, and happily passes it on as a present, completely unaware of the horror she is about to unleash.  

As the plot unfolds, following the strange death of its previous owner, we see the diary pass into a new set of hands, unleashing a powerful, horrific, disruptive force each step of the way, and taking the viewer on a journey enriched with accidents, unexplained deaths and accusations of madness.  

By the time of the film's climax, the viewer will learn the true, horrific  meaning of the diary and why the sinister force had set out to control, and murder, each of its innocent owners.

 

With its dark Christmas theme, The Diary will have a Festive streaming, DVD/ Blu-rat shelf-life, for many years to come.
