​A hospital clock hits 10:50pm on 8 December 1980.
In one room a man is pronounced dead.
In another, a girl is born. Sally Graves.

The hooded figure arrives with her. It stands in the corner of the family house until her mother breaks. Years later Sally wakes in a city that is not hers. A café job she never applied for. A radio playing songs that have not been released. John Lennon looks up from his coffee and already knows her name.

She is inside the Dakota. She is on a boat in a Bermuda storm. She is in a ballroom when three old friends walk back onto a stage for a birthday history never allowed. She is on the wet pavement when a man steps out of the dark with an album under his arm and a hand inside his coat.

We know the doorway. We know the time. She is the piece that was never in the story.

Not a biopic. A supernatural thriller with a female lead, a closed night the world already knows, and a question that does not let go: if you could change that night, what would it cost.
